Wiimote knock-offs have been a bit slower coming than we expected but, as evidenced by the shot above, they are finally starting to make it out into the wild. This particular one, apparently spotted at a Wal-Mart, promises to mix something purporting to be “motion controls” with some sort of football game — likely on the order of Mattel’s LED-based games from the late seventies, we’re guessing. No word on what it costs, but we wouldn’t wait too long to pick one up if you’re curious; there’s no telling how long Nintendo will let this one fly.

Yes, it looks like Apple’s iPod Hi-Fi, minus the front fabric grille guard and plus a bit of extra physical volume and chrome. But Blue Raven’s Maestro 1070 ($200) sells for $150 less than the Hi-Fi, has backlit control buttons on its top, comes in either white or black (shown), and includes a video-out port, along with the 70-watt amplification system that inspired its name.
