It seems that Apple is about to make a profound change in its policy of distribution and sale of iPhone.
We all know that soon smartphone / iPod Apple will be profoundly renewed in hardware and software, however, there is another aspect that could have a decisive role in further success of this device.
Apple seems, in fact, be about to abandon the sale of iPhone with a carrier exclusive. The change might be needed for its introduction in markets like Italy, but this does not seem to be the only reason.
With the arrival of new firmware, Apple probably will be more concerned distribution of the device and the gain on new services offered, rather than the profits made by individual carriers.
Some rumor wanting the first launch of the new iPhone in Canada in June without any exclusive. For the same period smartphone / iPod Apple is also expected in othe countries.
