“Green Days” with Apple and ProAmbi

The Apple Premium Reseller in collaboration with the company Proambi, a key player in the recycling of products harmful to the environment, have started a recycling campaign called Green Days, which lasted four days from July 2 to July 5.

The initiative, the first of its kind undertaken in Mexico, has encouraged the filing of electronic products in special containers. This was mainly laptops, old monitor, CPU obsolete mobile phones and iPod. After harvesting, ProAmbi will take care of the disposal, by separating the recyclable materials (glass, plastic) than harmful.

Jan René Aguirre, director of ProAmbi, explained that the agreement aims to promote the recycling of old technology equipment and the purchase of a new front for a discount of no less than 3000 pesos (about € 162) for those who had purchased a MacBook Pro, or 1500 (approximately € 82) pesos in the case of polycarbonate MacBook. As for the iPod, the discount was 700 pesos (about € 38) for the iPod Touch is 300 (about € 17) pesos for the iPod nano.
